“Kindness in words creates courage.” Lao Tzu, Taoist Philosopher (6th century)
Language matters. The words we choose have power; they leave an imprint wherever they are read or heard. Be intentional with your speaking. The original of this piece was created for Menorah Park in Syracuse, NY - whose mission fosters health, community and dignity for older adults.
About the original artwork: it was created with a a collage of paper and watercolor washes. Each word, each image is cut out. I chose symbols of the seasons - for aging, for beauty and because true kindness is gift without bounds.
Available as a postcard and poster. The poster measures 11 by 17 inches.
