“I tell you this to break your heart, by which I mean only that it break open and never close again to the rest of the world.”
— Mary Oliver
I am interested in meridians, maps, and the narrative of time on the landscape of memory. Through layered imagery — from paintings, photographs and drawings - I am working with coordinates, enigmas of light and shadow, and vivid pools of color as the tools of this narrative cartography. There are undertones of love and loss, the juxtaposition of things lost and found, and the neurology of a life — beneath a grid of valor.
